I've been an
artist ever since I could pick up a pencil.
I came home from art school with no
marketable skills and sold my artistic soul
to the corporate gods and worked in sales
and marketing for over 20 years. In
that time I maintained my passion for art,
but didn't act on it much visually until I
had a family and got
tired of waiting in lineups at festivals
with my kids for facepainting. I did
my research and found the safest products to
use. I'm passionate about high
standards for safety and quality. I
hope to raise the facepainting standard and
expectations in the lower mainland. I
regularly upgrade my skills with research,
practice and workshops. I've won
competitions and love to come up with new
and innovative designs.
Every face is
a new and unique canvas. I love people
and creativity. The best part of my
job is when a client sees themselves in the
mirror after I've painted them and their
face lights up! The worst part is
trying to end a line at a large event or
festival. It's hard to say no to
'please, just one more...' The fact is
most people (young and old) love to be
facepainted so call me and book an event
today! I'd love to create some amazing
artwork for you!
The
combination of my sales, event planning and
teaching background provides valuable
experience in the entertainment world.
